All the shoe stories are about real shoes I've seen and wondered how they got there. I make up a story based on the surroundings. Sometimes I use an Unsplash picture at the title and include my photo later (especially when my photo is pretty bad). This one is my own photo - so each bit of the story is drawn from a clue in the picture.
