Everything we make today

…will be broken tomorrow.

Everything we make today
will be broken tomorrow.

Small things
hurt most.

Like fresh linen.

Soft sheets, flung and settling
in slow motion.

Sunshine through the blinds.

Making our bed.
Laughing.
