Hi Valerie, I really enjoyed your article and read it all the way through :-) The writing is clear and to-the-point, and it's a topic I'm interested in because of the number of people who seem to clap, highlight or otherwise engage, but don't show up as a reader or sometimes even a viewer in the stats. If Medium uses a metric which is more than double what's usually considered 30 seconds of reading time - that would explain a lot about the irregularities in their stats. Also interesting that you felt your article is "well over" your 3min target - but Medium marks it as a 3min read. Thanks for sharing your insights in this punchy, engaging piece. Very helpful.
